Boesemani rainbowfish fire red are a selectively bred strain of Boesemani rainbowfish. Their colour is more orange and red compared to the standard Boesemani. As with any rainbowfish, colour is more pronounced in the adults and they have very strong sexual dimorphism. Males get bigger and brighter why the females have more subtle tones.
