CG6-101 These 40cm long Alutherm mittens give protection for extremely high contact heat i.e. investment casting. Made of a glass fabric mitten covered with fine stainless steel chain mail to dissipate heat. Internal lining in flame-retardant wool cloth for comfort and increased insulation. Ambidextrous for increased usable lifetime. Certified to 350°C for 15 seconds, the manufacturer advises limited contact for temperatures up to 1000°C. Easy removal. Pair. The different options for lining thickness increases the layers of wool insulation, effectively delaying the time it takes for the heat to travel through the glove to the wearer, allowing for slightly longer use lengths. Allow to cool between uses.
